		<biog>From Watford, Mel helps form the original Gem and the Stones.  A music student and writer, Mel gave attitude and sex appeal to the Stones. Mel loves Aerosmith, and heavy rock. She also designed the first www.myspace.com/gemandthestones site. She performed and promoted gigs at St Clement Danes School, where Gem and the Stones wins Battle of the Bands Competition, as well as being part of the regular slot at Indy Jax.</biog>

Sarah, an agressive and energetic female drummer also brought sex appeal to the Stones and played with Gem and Mel at regular slots at Indy Jax and for Mr Freeze's 50th at Water End Hall. Sarah went to student music at Uni.  </biog>

		<biog>From Oz, Steve played drums on Gem's solo album on original tracks such as Jam, Past Future and AOK. Not only is he mean on the drums, but he's mean with the socket set. Gem met Steve when her first studio resided above a Jaguar repair centre...Steve the Speed Demon.  Both Steve and Gem's guitar teacher, Robin Bibi introduced Gem to The Ram Jam Blues Club in Kingston, where Gem later performed with Mai and Candy as Gemmai. </biog>

		<biog>From Hertfordshire, Gem was brought up around punk and rock musicians, her Father and Uncles members of the Anal Surgeons and Fun Boy Five. Gem forms the collaborative with the Stones. Gem knocks out tunes for the Stones to play. Influenced by Hendrix, The Sex Pistols and Barrie, Gem loves her classic British Gangsta style music. Gem is also the Director of her own label, Gem Records Limited. Both hers and the Stones music is signed to Gem Records.  Gem the solo artist is also signed to Gem Records, seeing her first album release Jam in 2002. Previous credits include Dennis Bovell/Julian Jones and Hasbro Europe.</biog>
