Who are Gem and the Stones?
This band is a ever changing collective of like minded musicians of varying talent, founded and fronted by Gemma. To the present date there have been a total of eight Stoners that have rolled and rocked with Gem. They have brought their own energy and personality to Gemma's hand rolled DIY punk rock.
Brought up in Herts, Gemma has built upon the long standing tradition of local bands in this county that has been the mother of many top bands of diverse styles like The Anal Surgeons; Fun Boy Five; The Dammed; Souxie and the Banchies; Wishbone Ash and Marillion.
Gemma has been locked away since the bands last gig at The Horn in St Albans banging out some fresh tuneage for the bands next gigs. Her tracks are available on Channel 4's Tunetribe website but her real love is playing live.....and this is where YOU come into it !
